The Hound Edit creates thoughtfully designed clothing for Italian Greyhounds, tailored to their unique frame and movement, and made for everyday life.

Our Italian Greyhounds’ fine builds, sensitivity, and wide range of motion mean their clothing needs to be designed with their specific frame and movement in mind.

A considered approach to design

Our approach is shaped by lived experience, including navigating injury and recovery with our own Italian Greyhound, Twiggy. This made us deeply aware of how much fit, stretch, and ease of movement matter.

Every garment is developed around the Italian Greyhound’s natural movement, with comfort and ease at the forefront.

Designed for real life

We design clothing to support everyday routines - from ease of dressing before a walk to comfort on the move.

Subtle design choices, such as hidden stretch where it’s needed most and carefully considered seam placement, allow our garments to move with our Italian Greyhounds, not against them.

Materials chosen with intention

Fabric selection is a central part of our design process. We look beyond warmth alone, focusing on properties such as stretch, breathability, weight, and recovery.

These elements not only improve day-to-day comfort for our dogs, but also ensure each garment wears well over time and continues to look and feel good in use.

Each material is carefully researched and tested to ensure it supports our Italian Greyhounds across seasons and environments.

Handmade in the UK

All of our garments are handmade in the UK in small batches or made to order.
This allows us to maintain quality while reducing waste throughout the making process.

Working at a considered scale means we can focus on quality and longevity over volume.

Thoughtful by design

We prioritise materials with responsible credentials, from OEKO-TEX certified fabrics to brand labels made from recycled yarn.

We're here to create garments that are for the everyday, loved for years, and feel good for our Italian Greyhounds - and their people feel better about.
