Shipping policy

When your order will be dispatched

Most of our pieces are made in small batches and kept in stock, ready to send. In-stock orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days.

If a size isn’t currently in stock, selected styles may still be available to order. These pieces are handmade by Kim in the UK, so please allow up to two weeks for your piece to be made before it is dispatched. Where this applies, it will be clearly shown on the product page.

If anything is likely to take longer, we’ll be in touch.

If your order includes both in-stock and made-to-order pieces, they will be dispatched together once your complete order is ready.

Delivery times

Your garments will be shipped via Royal Mail Tracked, and you’ll receive a tracking number once your order is on its way.
Please note that any delays after dispatch, such as postal service disruptions or customs processing, are outside of our control.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location.

International shipping

We’re delighted to offer international shipping so Italian Greyhounds around the world can wear The Hound Edit.

United States

Due to recent changes in US import tariffs, orders shipped to the US are subject to a 10% import duty. These will be calculated for you automatically at checkout. To make things easier for you, The Hound Edit pays this directly to US customs authorities on your behalf. This avoids surprise fees on delivery and helps your order move smoothly through customs.

European Union

Shipping to EU countries is currently paused while we navigate new EU compliance requirements, including additional registration and, where required, local representation.

We really hope this is temporary and will keep you updated if we’re able to resume shipping to the EU.

Shipping to non-EU European destinations remains available where shown at checkout.

Rest of the world

Orders are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked, with delivery times varying depending on your location.

Please note that customs duties, taxes, or import fees may apply when your order arrives in your country. These costs are not included at checkout and remain the customer’s responsibility.

We recommend checking with your local customs office for guidance before placing your order.

The Hound Edit isn’t responsible for any additional charges incurred after dispatch, and any customs fees paid on orders that are later returned unfortunately cannot be refunded.

Recyclable packaging

Rest assured, our packaging is made from 100% recyclable materials, from our mailing bag to our handwritten thank you note inside, which means they can be popped in the recycling bin.
