Why we designed The Brigitte

I love a stripe. I have plenty in my own wardrobe and have always thought of them as more of a staple than a print. So when I realised we were missing a layer for those moments when our Italian Greyhounds feel the breeze, but it’s not quite jumper weather, I loved the idea of bringing a Breton into their wardrobe.

The cotton jersey is breathable and lightweight, with a little elastane for stretch and to help it hold its shape. We also know some Italian Greyhounds prefer a shorter length down the back, so this felt like the perfect piece to try our first cropped cut.

And there was never a question about the trim. Against the blue-and-white stripe, it had to be a classic postbox red, making The Brigitte feel like more than just a comfort layer, and more like the kind of piece you’d look for in your own wardrobe too.

Materials and care

Fabric
95% cotton, 5% elastane for stretch. OEKO-TEX certified.

Care
Machine wash with similar colours at 30° on a low-spin, reduced cycle with mild detergent. Tip: Wash inside out to preserve the colour and finish

Packaging
Our packaging is fully recyclable and carefully chosen to minimise environmental impact.
